2006 Cabernet Sauvignon
The colour is showing some signs of development consistent with the wines age. Opaque core with a red mahogany tinge.
The bouquet is clean and there is pronounced cedar and cassis on initial assessment, some tobacco leaf and sweet beetroot earthy fruit. Complex and integrated oak/fruit balance.
The palate is medium to full bodied dry wine, fine and balanced tannins with a soft texture. The fruit has a great intensity and is balanced. The wine shows great length and finished with a powerful kick of red fruits and berries. Very good for a difficult vintage in Margaret River.
Limited production of 338 cases.
